THOMAS A. EDISON
(1847 - 1931) American inventor of the electric light, phonograph, typewriter, and microphone, to name a few. Considered perhaps the greatest inventor of the century. Late S.P. signed with his characteristic "umbrella" signature, 5 3/4" x 7 1/2", a newspaper image showing Edison on his 84th birthday celebrating with his wife MARY EDISON, who also signs. Slight ink bleeding, else very good condition.
