Description:

THOMAS A. EDISON
(1847 - 1931) American inventor of the electric light, phonograph, typewriter, and microphone, to name a few. Considered perhaps the greatest inventor of the century. Emphatic A.L.S. "Edison" 1p. 4to., [South Orange, 1921], to the manager of his record division, Jaffrey Buchanan. The obviously irritated inventor writes in his typical bold pencil, in part: "...When I came and found steam 118 - this was know[n] to Aylsworth...why in Hell didn't he set the Regulator. He came & saw it. Does he know how to set, why didn't he tell you...Ramsay did see it all day = who set it 118...". Toning at extreme margins and some chipping thereon resulting in slight loss, all clear of text. Overall very good.
