(1769 - 1821) The "Little Corporal" whose brilliance in the field of battle and as Emperor of France has made him perhaps the most important figure of post-Renaissance Europe. L.S. "Np" 1p. 4to., Trianon, July 14, 1811 in French. Writing the Minister of War on Bastille Day, Bonaparte informs him that "...I send you a report of an ordnance officer. The report is from Auch, suggesting that a bureau of artillery would be useful...". Small note attached to bottom left corner, else fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
