HEINRICH HIMMLER AND WILLY HERZBERGER
WILLY HERZBERGER (1895 - ?) An early (1932) member of the SS and close associate of Heinrich Himmler, Hitler's chief bodyguard for two years, later headed Gestapo offices in Breslau and Aachen. T.L.S. 1p. large 4to., Aachen, Jan. 5, 1936 to Heinrich Himmler in which he re-dedicates himself to the SS and pledges his loyalty. At top, Himmler initials receipt of the letter: "H H" in his typical green indelible pencil. Docketed at bottom by an adjutant, files holes and some marginal wear, else very good.
