Description:

ERWIN ROMMEL'S FIELD MARSHAL BATON REPLICA
A most attractive, highly-detailed hand-made replica of German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel's baton. The tubular baton measures 19 1/2" long with an approx. 1 1/2" diameter. The body of the baton is covered in dark red felt which in turn bears alternating emblems of Maltese Crosses and Germanic eagles with swastikas attached thereto. Likewise, one end of the baton bears a Maltese Cross, while the other bears an eagle, both again in high relief. Silver bands appear about both ends of the band, one bearing Rommel's name and rank, the other a presentation inscription and the date June 22, 1942. This is a very carefully crafted reproduction of the highest quality, virtually indistinguishable from Rommel's own baton. In a satin-lined presentation box.
