Description:

ERWIN ROMMEL INTERIM FIELD MARSHAL BATON REPLICA
A fine carefully-crafted and highly-detailed replica of German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel's interimstab, or interim baton, carried by him while awaiting the delivery of his proper baton. This baton measures 31" long with a 6 1/2" sterling silver top bearing three Germanic eagles clutching swastikas and a Maltese Cross all in high relief. Rommel's name appears in a band at bottom, also in relief, just above the black lacquered shaft which bears a light brown tip at bottom. A black, red and silver tassel with a large knot is affixed to a ring on the silver top of the cane. An excellent reproduction of the original, in fine condition.
