"Marc Chagall " 1p. 4to., New York, Mar. 17, 1947, to Mr. Rockefeller, possibly Nelson Rockefeller. In part: "...I have wanted to thank you for your kind letter and for your gift of a picture of mine to Brazil. It makes me very happy to know that you have such sympathy for my work. With pleasure I accept your kind invitation... ". Matted with a portrait of Chagall, and set in a handsome silver frame. A central fold, else very good. Unexamined out of frame. $600-800
