Superb bound collection of signatures and signed pieces by Presidents of the United States, every president from George Washington to Herbert Hoover being represented. The collection is housed in a red leather 9.5 x 12 in. book adorned with gilt trim, title, raised hubs and the original owner's name on the spine. It was assembled by famous Boston autograph and book dealer Charles E. Goodspeed in 1907. All of the autographs through Taft are expertly inset into or mounted upon a larger page, preceded by a period, high quality engraving. No autographs are back-to-back. Front cover is cleanly detached.
