I.S.P. 4.25ins x 6.5in, a cabinet photograph of the great journalist showing him seated in a half-length pose, inscribed on the verso: 'To the accomplished and ever-courteous J. W. Knox from Henry M. Stanley Paris, Nov. 11, 1882 ..' Photo had faded a bit, verso shows moderate soiling and a slight crease (not affecting image). Uncommon in signed photographs.
