[ Autographs ] (General Orders) An interesting grouping of twenty Civil War printed Union general orders, issued to officers during thewar. These orders were used to inform soldiers of changes in military policies, court martial proceedings, desertions, and the like. These general orders have been trimmed at the top and have some foxing, not affecting legibility nor completeness of the text. An interesting insight into the daily activities of the Union army.
