(1777 - 1825) Russian Czar whose greatest achievement was the destruction of the armies under Napoleon leading to the abdication of the Emperor and Russian participation in the Congress of Vienna. Manuscript D.S. "Alexander" in Russian, 2pp. folio, [n.p.], 1815, an appointment from the Russian Imperial Chancery, not translated. With the original folded transmittal sheet bearing half of the large red wax seal. Very good.
