Description:

Good pair of wartime propaganda posters, the first 20" x 28 1/4", titled "The United Nations Fight for Freedom" and illustrated with the flags of the 26 Allied nations before the Statue of Liberty. The poster is dated May 1, 1942 at bottom left, with a publishing line at center giving instructions for ordering additional copies from the Graphics Division of the Office of Facts and Figures, and indicating that it was produced by the Government Printing Office. Shows original mailing folds, with very minor damp stains to the right edge, else very good. WITH: a second full-color poster, 20" x 28", a vibrant depiction of a farming couple beneath the title: "Work on a farm... this summer". Beneath the image appears the exhortation: "Join the U.S. Crop Corps - See Your U.S. Employment Service Or Your Local County Agent". A publishing line at bottom left gives instructions for ordering additional copies from the Division of Public Inquiries of the Office of War Information, and indicates that it was produced by the Government Printing Office in 1943. Shows original mailing folds, else very good. Two pieces.

Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
