Description:
WORLD WAR II BOMBER JACKET - 7TH ARMY AIR CORPS A World War II high altitude, leather Type-3 bomber flight jacket for the 7th Army air corps. As was typical during the war, the soldier who owned this jacket has painted it on the back with a great image of a woman in the buff wearing only dark aviator glasses. Beneath his pin-up, the soldier has written: "Doc said all I needed was glasses ". He has also painted on the various location of missions such as Nagasaki, Shanghai, Marcus, and Truk. Size is a 42R. Typical wear, but overall very good condition, and certainly a nice relic of the time. $400-600
