Good lot of three World War I propaganda posters, encouraging citizens to invest in liberty bonds, includes: Full-color poster, 20 x 30 in., showing an American soldier holding his wife and child, beneath the title: "For Home and Country." The bottom right bears the printed signature of artist Alfred Everitt Orr, the caption "Victory Liberty Loan", and the printer's label of American Lithographic Company in New York. Ragged edges, notable tear at top-right corner, else very good. WITH: All-text poster, 20 x 30 in., encouraging citizens to "�Lend the way they Fight - Buy liberty bonds to your utmost!". The bottom-right corners bears a printed manufacturer's mark rom Lutz and Sheinkman Lithograph Company in New York, and another manufacturer's mark from their labor union, the Amalgamated Lithographers of America. Ragged bottom edge, slight tears on the top edge, archivally repaired on the verso. Very good. WITH: Small all-text banner, 42.5 x 5 in., reading in full: "Is YOUR name on the Honor Roll?...Fourth Liberty Loan". The bottom-left corner bears the designation "26-BB". Vertical creases and folds, one 2 in. split on top margin, else very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
