Good lot of three World War I propaganda posters, each approx. 17 x 22 in., advertising the issue of "Liberty Loans", war bonds used to support the Allied cause. Includes: full-color poster published by the Liberty Loan Committee of New England, advertising that owners of small amounts of Liberty Bonds "...should go to any bank, trust company, or safety deposit company..." and emphasizing in part: "...You bought [Liberty Bonds] to uphold the Government during the greatest test it has ever had. When you sell your bonds you are a quitter!" Light damp stain to the top half, else very good. WITH: Blue-and-black poster published by the U.S. Treasury Department, bearing the labels "S5" and "US Government Printing Office" at bottom left, bearing a small depiction of the "Torch of Liberty" and "War Savings Stamps issued by the U.S. Government for sale here". Spotted foxing at bottom, damp stain on top-left, else very good. WITH: Green-and-yellow poster bearing a green letter "V" surrounded by laurels, reading: "Finish the Job�Subscribe to the 'Victory' Liberty Loan". Slightly ragged top edge, else very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipments after receipt of payment due to the high volume of packages being shipped.
