Revolution. A.L.S., 1p. 8vo., Charleston, Mar. 19, 1793 possibly to John E. Calhoun informing him that "Mr. Robert Clark has just put into
my hands his demand against the Estate
of Thomas Mulechenson Esq. whereon a Judgment is obtained -- I do not recollect I ever heard any thing of this debt before...I am now confined to my room with the Gout, I will give the memo. to Messrs E. Blake & Son to enquire into it..."
Offered together with a letter dated 1934 to a Miss Gonzales, noting that she was a descendent of Skirving and enclosing the 1793 letter. Also offered together with an envelope addressed to one Abrosius Gonzales with the U.S. Army in Santiago de Cuba, 1898. Together three pieces, very good.
