A.L.S., 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Jan. 5, 1791 to William Skirving informing him that "Mr Gregoria[?] has been with me to say, he is much in want of payment... He has not, I understand received a Shilling. He has desired me to proceed so as to obtain Payment - To write you a Letter on the Subject is to me the most agreeable Mode of Proceeding..." With integral address leaf addressed in Rutledge's hand. Several small holes at fold intersections, light soiling, otherwise very good. $1,000-1,500
