WILLIAM IV
(1765 - 1837) King of England who resisted a halt to the slave trade, and was the last king to attempt to force a Prime Minister on Parliament. A.L.S. 1p. 4to., "Busby House", his residence in London, Nov. 5, 1825, as Duke of Clarence to Sir Henry, in part: "…Princess Augusta who is now with us has expressed a wish of seeing yourself and Lady Francis that we may bring over to Silver Land my sister next Wednesday…". With original front panel (only) of mailing envelope, bearing franking signature "Clarence" at lower left. Mounting traces to verso, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
