Description:

An unusual post-World War II American military dress uniform jacket, constructed of white linen and closed at front by four metal buttons bearing the seal of the Department of the Air Force. Each breast bears a pleated patch pocket with buttoned flap closure, with an additional flap-covered slash pocket at each hip. The left-hand breast bears thirteen non-regulation embroidered ribbon bars, beneath an embroidered silver bullion U.S.A.F. Command Pilot's insignia. The left-hand patch pocket bears an embroidered silver bullion U.S.A.F. Missile Badge, indicating that the wearer conducts work related to Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. Each lapel bears the embroidered silver bullion initials "U.S.", while each epaulette strap bears an embroidered silver bullion colonel's rank eagle. The cuffs are trimmed with sliver brocade ribbon. The interior is lined with white rayon with three horizontal slit pockets. The liner also bears the fabric label of a tailor in Fukuoka, Japan, as well as an embroidered fabric name tag identifying the owner as Bob M. Johnson. Also present are a matching pair of white linen dress trousers with silver brocade piping. Shows some minor soiling, else very good.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
