TUPAC SHAKUR "ALL EYEZ ON ME" TRACK LIST
Very important handwritten prospective track list for his best-selling fourth studio album, "All Eyez on Me", written by Tupac in black ink on the verso of the cover of a spiral bound notebook and signed twice by him. The list contains 28 tracks, split between two "sides" each on two "books" (discs). The list presented here contains notable differences from the final recorded track list: Five tracks, entitled "Can''t Fade Me", "Ma Babiez Mama", "2 My Unborn", "Fair X Change", and "Late Night", do not appear on the final release of the album, and the final album contains four tracks, "No More Pain", "Tradin'' War Stories", "Ain''t Hard 2 Find", and "Heaven Ain''t Hard 2 Find", that do not appear on this track list. Additionally, all but two tracks, "Ambitionz Az a Ridah" and "Wonda Why They Call U Bitch", were given different positions on the final album than they are listed in here. Beside the track list, Shakur gives a list of producers and featured artists, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Method Man, Redman, Daz Dillinger, DJ Quik, and DJ Bobcat. Shakur twice signs his name as "2Pac", once at the top of the page, and again as a producer. The sheet bears some damp stains, with a 4" vertical tear from the top edge, running between the words "Eyez" and "On" of the title, with a smaller tear branching off and affecting the "c" in "2Pac". An approx. 2" horizontal tear near the bottom affects the names of the final two tracks, folds throughout, else very good. With an original signed letter of provenance (which has been notarized with others) from the recipient of the lyrics who was given them directly by Tupac in 1995. The two had met while both were recording at Can-Am Studio in Tarzana. They soon became friends, and on one particular occasion, Tupac gave his friend and fellow rapper a group of his working lyrics as a gift.
