THOMAS C. HINDMAN
(1828-1868) Confederate major general who served at Chickamauga, Chattanooga, and Kennesaw Mountain where an eye wound disqualified him from further active service. He was murdered during the Reconstruction period in Arkansas. War-date partly-printed D.S. "T C. Hindman Maj. Gen." and again "T. C. Hindman" in the body, 1p. oblong 8vo. Atlanta, Oct. 24, 1863, a pre-printed "Requisition for Fuel" form requested two cords of wood to be used for Hindman and his staff. Folds moderate soiling and light dampstains, a few minor pinholes, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
