THOMAS BRAGG
(1810-1872) North Carolina lawyer and politician, brother of Gen. Braxton Bragg. Served in the Confederate States Cabinet as Attorney General from 1861-62. Partly-printed D.S. on official "State of North Carolina" letterhead, 1p. oblong folio, Raleigh, Dec. 29, 1855, a land grant to Thomas J. Bright for 26 acres in Montgomery County. Boldly signed, "Ths Bragg" and countersigned by WILLIAM WILL, Secretary of State. Sold as is, with multiple separations, moderate toning, and slight foxing throughout, none affecting signature.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
