(1858 - 1919) Twenty-sixth President of the United States who started the Panama Canal, settled the Russo-Japanese War, broke up Standard Oil and encouraged conservation. Partly-printed D.S. as "Theodore Roosevelt" as President, 1p. folio, Washington, Jan. 10, 1908, an appointment of Waldo E. Ayer to serve as "Major of Infantry" in the army. Fine condition, a great example for framing.
