The card bears a photograph of a cr?che scene from the East Room in the White House, with the greeting and Presidential Seal on the facing page. The greeting reads "With our wishes for a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year", followed by the printed signatures of John and Jacqueline Kennedy. Also included is the white tissue insert. Following Kennedy's assassination on November 22nd, it was clear that these cards, already printed, could not be used. Fine condition. $400-500
