Description:

The Beatles 1965 San Francisco Concert Ephemera Collection
A terrific grouping of items collected during The Beatles second visit to San Francisco for their Cow Palace appearance on Aug. 31, 1965. Included is: a ticket stub for the evening performance ("Beatles" is handwritten on the stub, which also exhibits several creases); a Cow Palace embossed ticket envelope; an 8" x 10" picture of The Beatles with concert promoter Paul Castalano taken at the previous year's Cow Palace concerts; two Cabana Motor Hotel room number tags from rooms in which The Beatles stayed, and, lastly, believe it or not....a smashed jelly bean from a scrapbook labeled "Paul stepped on this jelly bean...August 31, 1965...Beatles concert". A dream come true for collectors of celebrity smashed jelly beans!
