Description:

The Beatles 1964 Carnegie Hall Concert Program
A rare program for the Beatles concert debut in New York City at the venerable Carnegie Hall during their first visit to America, and coinciding with their historic appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. The pair of concerts on Feb. 12, 1964 came a day after their first American concert at the Coliseum in Washington, each attended by 2,900 fans and VIP's, some of which were seated on the stage! Note the center-fold page listing for John McCartney! In this example, the concert-goer has crossed out John and written in "Paul" in blue ballpoint pen. A terrific Capitol Records ad featuring the record jackets for "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and "Meet The Beatles" exclaims "Beatlemania Is Here!"....England's #1 Recording Stars have America's #1 Hit Single and America's #1 Hit Album. The 28-page, 8.25" x 11.25" program shows mild handling wear. A superb example!
