1082. TEIICHI SUZUKI Japanese politician, an expert on China who masterminded Japan's wartime economy and was involved in drug trafficking in China. In 1945 he was appointed Foreign Minister under Suzuki. Sentenced to life imprisonment for war crimes. Rare S.P. 4 1/2" x 6" b/w, a full-length image of Suzuki seated in a hallway chair with an American MP eyeing him warily, obviously taken as he awaited trial in Tokyo for war crimes.
