JAPANESE WAR CRIMES TRIAL A lot of five oversized "Sound Photos" from International News Photo (King Features), c. 1945, showing various images from the trials and execution of Japanese officers accused of war crimes during World War II. The images, each measuring 11" x 14", depict officers who were arrested in Hankow, arriving on an airfield in Shanghai on their way to trial for "...torture, execution and cremation of three American B-29 flyers who crash landed...". Along with two courtroom images of the trial itself,; and two images of the execution by hanging of two of the officers convicted of said crimes. Some images bear editorial markings in white ink, presumably for newspaper or magazine use. Otherwise some creasing, but overall very good. $150 - 200
