SUSAN B. ANTHONYGood content A.L.S. on National Woman Suffrage Association letterhead, 2pp. 8vo., Washington, Feb. 27, 1888 to "My Dear Miss Hall". Anthony is angered that her name is being used for commercial purposes, writing in part: "...I have over & over demanded that my name should not be in the papers of that or any insurance company - because I know nothing about that sort of business...they continue to use my name as authority after I have protested against it...I wrote to the Pres. of the Co. and received a pledge that it should be dropped...its officers use my name against my oft repeated protests...". First page unevenly toned, else very good, with transmittal envelope.
