SPECIAL FORCES BERETS
Good pair of berets worn by notable Special Forces units, includes: World War II-era or immediately postwar khaki wool beret, bearing a wool embroidered patch bearing the insignia of the British Army''s Special Air Service (SAS), a winged sword with a banner bearing the motto: "Who Dares Wins" at front. The rim is padded with black leather, and two riveted vent holes padded within with black leather are present. The interior lining is of khaki serge, with the nearly invisible remnants of white stamped markings at center. The lining shows several tears and considerable wear and soiling, with some slight mothing to the crown, else very good. WITH: Modern American green wool beret, bearing the cap badge insignia of the United States Army Special Forces over a black, yellow and red flash. The rim is padded with black leather with a black adjustment ribbon at the rear and two riveted vent holes at the side. The interior is lined with quilted black cloth and bears a fabric label identifying the retailer as Denmark''s Military of New York City, with a stamp showing the size 7 1/4 to 7 3/8. Fine. Two pieces.

Shipping

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
