A.L.S., 7pp. 8vo., St. Louis, June 3, 1885 to a colonel offering detailed news on his family, mentioning that a relative's house had burned, and that he had received so many invitations he was being paraded about like "Barnum's Circus". Spindle holes in left margin affecting a few letters of text, else very good. $300-500
