After the war he served as a congressman.Lot of two A.L.S's, 4pp. total, 8vo., Boston, 1885 and 1887, the first discussing soldiers from Waltham, Mass. who had turned out for the alarms at Lexington and Concord, the second letter mentioning that he had written to the Secretary of State and had hoped to discuss an issue with the President and his Cabinet.
