1265. YANG SEN (1884-1977) Chinese General and Sichuan warlord, his name is tied to the infamous military confrontation in Sept. 1926 known as the Wanhsien Incident. Rare S.P. "Yang Sen," in Chinese characters, and bearing Yang Sen's red ink "chop" at bottom left, an imposing waist-length pose, by Zenith Studio, Hankow, China. Image 7 1/2" x 5-1/4", on wide photographer's mount [on which it is signed], 12-3/16 in. x 9-3/16 in. overall. Light wear and slight scrapes at mount edges, otherwise in very good condition. $200-300
