(b. 1944) Long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975, Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. Virulent A.L.S. 'Blue', 4pp. 4to., Alderson, [n.d.], to Charles Manson talking about recent experiences as well as Fromme's attempted assassination on Gerald Ford, rife with racism. In part: '...Enclosed are some pictures you'll like...A reporter from the Sacramento Bee newspaper wants to come here and interview me and Red...I did an interview with him after Red got busted in Sacto and he was not bad...he and the other guy that works for...the Sacramento Union are the only 2 reporters worth a F... The occasion is the 5 year anniversary of Red's paying a visit to Pres. Ford. He wants to see where we are at 5 years later....3 times this month nigs have taken my wash time, so I yelled...next time you have you have your cloths in the machine on my time I'm gonna kill you... 2 weeks ago I was mad, said to some white woman that the KKK and Nazis have my support...My garden is coming up, me and two other girls did all the work and now the nigs are raiding it. I nicely ran 6 off last week. I was diplomatic...[they] didn't do a lick of work but want the fruit of others labor...' Scattered ink show through and spotting, else fine. From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words.'

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
