(b. 1944) A long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. Lengthy, rambling A.L.S. 'Blue', 12pp. 8vo., Alderson, 1979, to Charles Manson ranting about her feelings. In part: '...One thing though and I meant to say it long ago, I used to be attracted to Jews because they always been so many who were classical musicians, composers...I had a Jewish boyfriend...he was gentle. I was such a bitch I caused him to tear up a room...He got me preg. His parents did not like him going with a gentile...Red will be put in a control unit modeled after the one in Marion so I hear. I'm so furious. I can't believe their fear and insecurity...but the girl she hit was the Captains pet...so this is their get back...Some days are perfect in ways and I think God looks out for me...After 35 years I think I deserve a good day...later I feel so much HATE...my body can hardly contain my hate...I got cheated out a good sex life I don't know when ill quit being mad about that...I'm so mad about so much...I owe the good things to you cept you didn't give me much attention at the ranch...like some lame brain women who did nothing got to experience parts of you that I never did...I worked so hard...all it did was set me apart from you...I used to go into a library and want to commit suicide because I did not know the 'wisdom of the ages'...' Accompanied with a hand addressed envelope. Fine condition. From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words.
