Description: RICHARD NIXON
(1913 - 1994) Thirty-seventh President of the United States who led during the Vietnam War, re-opened diplomatic ties with China and the U.S.S.R., resigned his office due to the Watergate scandal. Scarce signed book, Nixon's Six Crises, (Garden City, N.Y.: Doubleday & Co., 1962). First Edition, xvi, 460pp. 8vo., bound in titled cloth with dust jacket. Inscribed by Nixon on the front blank flyleaf: "Best to Greigs, from Dick Nixon". Lightly toned at page edges, minor tears at top and bottom margins of dust jacket, else very good.
