RICHARD NIXON IN POLITICAL CARTOONS
A terrific set of three original ink production drawings lampooning Richard Nixon from the late 60s and early 70s. Includes DENNIS RENAULT, original ink drawing, 13 1/2" x 11" depicting a sweating Nixon seated, on the phone, asking "SPIRO WHO?" and signed "Renault" at bottom right. Additionally inscribed and signed by Renault at the top margin. Damp stained, at top, else very good. Framed; LOU GRANT ink on photograph with black wash, 7 1/2" x 9" portrait of Nixon on a $3 bill with the caption at top: "AND NOW FOR THE $3 BILL" and signed at the lower right; ROBERT GRAYSMITH pen and ink drawing for the San Francisco Chronicle, 13 3/4" x 10 3/4", depicting Nixon listening in on a huddle with the Washington Redskins. Signed at the top left and dated Dec. 5, 1972. Very fine condition and simply framed. Together, three pieces.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
