Lot of two documents signed by Revolutionary War military and political notables, includes JOHN SULLIVAN (1744-1808), a member of the Massachusetts Committee of Safety who later pressed for adoption of the Constitution, D.S. 2pp. legal folio, Boston, 1799, the minutes of a council meeting concerning finances, signed at conclusion. With THOMAS MELVILL (1751 - 1832), American patriot and a member of the Boston Tea Party, D.S., 1p. folio, Aug. 19, 1828, a customs document, lightly toned and cleanly split vertically. Two pieces.
