REVOLUTIONARY WAR QUARTERMASTER'S RECEIPTS A collection of seven war-date manuscript documents, 1p. ea., mostly oblong 8vo., various locations, Jan. 5, 1781 to Nov. 1783 being receipts for funds advanced by Albany quartermaster Nicholas Quackenbush for various articles including "five thousand Hoop=Poles...one hundred & Sixty two Wooden Buckets...five Barrels of Lime,...one new Batteau...". One undated, but likely late, document is a draft receipt for an unspecified sum "for the use of purchasing the Liquidation Accounts belonging to the Soldiers of the State of New York...". Some margins rough, light creases, otherwise very good to fine. $150-200
