QUARTERMASTER'S STORES, 1776 A 13 leaf 8vo. notebook with paper covered boards, with several pages filled in detailing "person[']s names who have boards in the District of Sconactda [sic, Schenectady]...", and listing the names of 48 people including many prominent New York family names such as Schermerhorn, Van Patten, Van Voorst, Glen, and Wimpel. On a single page, Albany, Feb. 22, 1776, the book's owner noted the presence of 5266 boards on hand and ready for use by the Continental Army. $100-150
