In part: "...All the material there is, is available at the Special Collection of the University of Southern California at Los Angeles. Undoubtedly it would be released, if you so wish, on the request of a responsible person. I enclose a copy of a letter from Wilbur J. Smith dealing with this matter...". At bottom Flowers notes: "H- do a nice letter acknowledging - & ask Janet Scott to write asking for The Long Goodbye". Boldly signed in red ink, a couple of staple holes at upper-left, else fine condition.
