Description:

R.M.S. TITANIC RELIC
A genuine relic from the ill-fated passenger ship Titanic which sank in the North Atlantic on April 15, 1912 with a huge loss of life. The relic we offer is a 1/2" x 1/4" section of wood, teak or mahogany, removed from a door panel or frame recovered by the cable-laying ship Minia as she scoured the area for debris days after the sinking. The relic rests on a circle of black felt in a clear plastic holder which is in turn mounted to an attractive green marble display stand with a brass model of the liner and identifying plaque. This item, unlike the ubiquitous bits of coal once offered, has been produced in a limited, numbered edition of only 361 pieces. With full analysis undertaken by an independent examiner and certificate of authenticity affixed to bottom.
