Description:

PERSONAL ITEMS OWNED BY JOSEPHINE "JOSIE" EARP
An odd assortment of items once owned by Wyatt Earp's wife, Josephine "Josey" Earp (1861-1944) and obtained by our consignor directly from the estate of Earp collector and researcher John Gilchriese. Gilchriese had befriended John Flood, Earp's personal secretary whom Earp treated as a son, and Flood had given Gilchriese all of his Earp-related material. Included in this "mixed bag" are 16 "cut" nails, a small chunk of cement, 29 American military buttons, vintage WWII, two very old buttons, a Spanish-American War pin, a ca. 1930 ring case, and most interestingly, three tiny, delicate bottles, perhaps perfume bottles, ca. 1880? Certainly worth a look.
