PAUL VON HINDENBURG
(1847 - 1934) German general and politician, crushed the Russians at Tannenburg and in Poland, forced to yield the Chancellor's office to Hitler in 1933. Manuscript D.S. in German, 1p. 4to., Jan. 15, 1894, not translated but apparently relating to a confirmation of troop strength and the delegation of assignments. Large ornate signed as an officer. Very good condition.
