Description:

PAPA JOHN CREACH(1917-1994) Fiddler from Chicago who moved to California in the 1960's and was soon asked by the band Jefferson Airplane to join them on tours and in the studio. Creach performed with Jefferson Airplane and their offshoots until he died. Typed D.S. 2pp., [Mamaroneck], May 12, 1975, ending Creach's relationship with his New York legal representation, boldly signed "Papa John Creach" in black ink. Included with the lot is a 3" x 5" change-of-address card instructing the Post Office to forward Creach's mail from New York to Los Angeles, also signed by Creach. The D.S. is very good with a slight fold and staple-hole at top left and a paperclip mark at top right, and the card is fine.
