NUREMBERG WAR CRIMES TRIALS INDICTMENT, CASE 5 'THE FLICK CASE'
Nuremberg court-used document, 19pp. legal folio including 3pp. appendix, Feb. 8, 1947, signed in facsimile and in type by Brig. Gen. and Chief of Counsel for War Crimes, TELFORD TAYLOR (1908-1998). This document sets forth the complete text of the indictment brought forth by the Allied prosecutors against Friedrich Flick and five other executives of his industrial concern on charges of using slave labor, spoliation of property, and 'Aryanization' of Jewish-owned businesses, specifically involving the exploitation of forced labor in mines/factories and the seizure of property in occupied territories (Germany, France, and the Soviet Union). The appendix lists all of Flick's holdings. Upon the trial's conclusion, Friedrich Flick was sentenced to seven years in prison; other defendants received sentences ranging from 6 months to 6 years. Some toning, a pencil note and a paperclip stain to first page, otherwise very good.
