An interesting nineteenth-century leatherbound government shipwreck instructional imprint for mariners off the coasts and waterways of the United States. The booklet is Buckram bound black, oblong 12mo., with gilt lettering: "U. S. Life-Saving Service. INSTRUCTIONS TO MARINERS in case of SHIPWRECK", 43pp., Washington, 1888, includes information on the Life-Saving Stations along the U.S. coasts and illustrated throughout. Prepared by Lieut. C. H. McLellan, USRM, Asst. Inspector, Life-Saving Stations. Owner's name "Noah Lucas" from Norwich, Ct. penciled on final leaf in period pencil. Expected wear, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
