Fine content A.L.S. 4pp. 8vo., Fitchburg, MA, July 22, 1920, to Mr. Long, in part: "...I received the article on the constitution and think it excellent in form and substance. Now I think I could write a very interesting article showing what the constitution has done for the individual sovereign citizen... Also, what it has done for noble women? While in other parts of the world her condition has been reduced below that of the swine on the field. When our civilization is passing through a most serious [?] man and noble woman taking a deep interest in the welfare and preservation of our system of government and blessed institutions... ".
