Genl', written in response to a battlefield dispatch (included) of Lt. Col. GEORGE STETZEL of the 11th Penn. Cavalry. Stetzel used a portion of a letter signed by Brigadier Gen. CHARLES C. DODGE to write his note. In response to Stetzel's, report, Corcoran penned an A.L.S., 1p. 4 x 6.25 in. , from 'Hd Qrs 1st Div.' to 'Major Foster'. In full: 'Enclosed is a communication from Col. Stetzel.
