LIBERTY BELL RELICS
A great pair of Revolutionary War relics including a 1" x 3" piece of wood said to be from the beam from which the Liberty Bell was suspended with a ca. 1854, note, reading: "Piece of the beam upon which was suspended the old State House Bell, Philadelphia, July 4, 1776". Also, included in a faded red swatch measuring approximately 3" x 4 1/2" purported to be a piece of a historic Revolutionary War flag with a note below that reads: "A piece of one of the old Revolutionary flags". Both attached to scrap album page with petrified shark's tooth attached. From a ca. 1860 autograph album, with period signatures on verso.
